Lots of stitching

This layout was inspired by sketch challenge #SC111 at Soul Scrappers:

Kaisercraft Enchanted Garden - Charm patterned paper
Kaisercraft Enchanted Garden - Rapture patterned paper
Kaisercraft Enchanted Garden - Magic patterned paper
Kaisercraft Li'l Primrose - Fancy Dress patterned paper
Kaisercraft Elegance - Catherine patterned paper
Prima Zephyr wooden ticket
Green Tara 4cm Petals - White paper flowers
Wooden heart buttons

Materials
Kaisercraft Esperance - Ocean Tide patterned paper
Kaisercraft Lush - Maple patterned paper
Kaisercraft Pickled Pear - Thyme patterned paper
Kraft cardstock
Echo Park Kate - Lowercase alphabet die

I'm joining in two challenges with this layout:

* Colorful Creations ~ Hello, my name is... Karen
Use only items that start with my first initial... K!  I had to ponder quite hard to make this one work (which makes for a true challenge, n'est-ce pas?)   My items are Kaisercraft patterned papers, Kraft letters and Kate font.  No embellishments, because I couldn't come up with any that started with 'K'!! and the busy papers are enough, I think.

* Archi-Scraps ~ Sewing

This is the inspiration image, which I believe is actually a clever photo manipulation (image watermarked with Worth1000) but wouldn't it be cool if it was a real building!  I used lots of machine stitching on this layout, one of my favourite techniques.

30/04/2017 Edit to add: I received a runner up prize at Archi-Scraps for this layout.

Thank you for visiting my blog!
